studio project, 2nd year; the Lost & Found continued

So with the Free For Arts Fringe this Friday and the main exhibition date coming up I have been thinking a lot about the aesthetics of the show and am really mindful that it shouldn't look cluttered or over done, I am also at the point where I am refining the ideas behind it and defining the purpose of it I guess, for example the beach trash and sea rope are really important to highlight the plight of our oceans, the blue collecting is looking at the Bower Bird and with that a way for me to shed what I feel were the negative ways that term was applied to me as a kid. I guess that with all the collecting and examining I did I was working towards this style of thing without knowing it.

Here are some photos from the Free For Arts Fringe event yesterday ( October 23rd 2015 ) featuring a very pared down selection of exhibits from the project.

Check out Jonathan's work

It was a good chance to test out what would and would not work and I think in general I have the ideas for the display pretty right for the main event in November.
